The Beginning

I was 13 when I picked up my first hammer. Not because I had to, but because something about building made sense when other things didn't. By 18, I'd seen enough to know I wasn't working for anyone else. So I started my own business in 2010—no fancy plan, just a truck, a willingness to show up early, and a promise to myself that I'd do things differently.

Those early years were about learning what people actually wanted. They didn't want the fastest job. They didn't want the cheapest bid. They wanted someone who'd look them in the eye, show up when they said they would, and treat their home like it mattered. That's not complicated. But it's not common either.

Along the way, I married my high school sweetheart. We have five kids now. That changes how you see everything. When you come home to people who depend on you, you don't take shortcuts. You don't promise things you can't deliver. You show up, you do the work right, and you mean what you say.
